To beard is to live
The fury and passion of professional bearding, in all its glory, comes to life in this IFC documentary series. The show has it all: rapture, ecstasy, heartache, anticipation, and even sex appeal (I'm looking at you, Aarne Bielefeldt).
The unbridled dedication of these men to their craft should serve as an inspiration to us all, for, as the Austin Facial Hair Club is known to say, it is the inner beard we cultivate that makes us whole.

Drama, drama, drama
Problem with these 'reality' shows ...
they take something that could be interesting and
turn it into high drama.
Purchased the first two episodes ...
as the beard growing is interesting but I don't
think I can take much more of this scripted junk.
