Fascinating
Fun to watch great (and not so great) artists at work... I could do without the drama and nastiness amongst the contestants, but other than that I really enjoy this show.
This season introduced me to the show.
I don't have any tattoos and don't plan on getting any. However, this show is pretty amazing. An issue for one of the contestants is that a guest judge tells him, "I would never allow a person without tattoos to work on me." There's a contestant who just cannot break out of his new school expertise; everything he makes is googly-eyed. The show has a chick with a French accent. One woman gets ink splattered on her face and it reminds me of what's called "a facial" in porn lingo. In "Alien 3," a character who gets a murder victim's blood on his face is never washed off and had caked on blood splatter for the rest of his time on film. That chick reminded me of that dude. Chick didn't know how to spell a Bible book and I think you can be sued (as least here in Illinois) for misspelling on someone's tattoo. For some reason, the biggest smack talkers on this series tend to be African Americans. (I'm Black too.) I don't know why that is, but it sho' doesn't help our community...

Good show. I could probably do without some of the little tiffs behind the scenes but really love to see the art! Some v talented people on this show and some interesting challenges as well!
